Public Relations Officer (PRO)
The Public Relations Officer is constantly communicating with the public and has full responsibility for the organization’s relationships with clients, investors, customer’s etc.
Public Relations Officer use a wide range of media to build and sustain a good image for a company, organization or brand through planned publicity campaigns and PR activity.
The Public Relations Officer demonstrates and adheres to the company values of safety, honesty, ownership, respect and teamwork to ensure successful partnership with customers and employees that result in the company’s continued success.
Develop and Manage the Brand Identity.
Responsible for Maintaining and Updating Internal and External Communication Portals, Such as Newsletters, Websites and Social Networking Pages.
Develop and Put in Place Communication Campaigns and Strategies.
Communicate Strategies and Issues to Management Team.
Organize and Attend Promotional Events Such as Press Conferences, Open Days, Exhibitions, Tours and Visits.
Constantly communicates with the public and has full responsibility for the firm’s relationships with clients, investors, customers etc.
Establish and Maintain Relationships with Consumer, Community, Employee, And Public Interest Groups.
Devise and Coordinate Photo Opportunities.
Write Press Releases and Other Media Communications to Promote Clients.
MBA/MSc/MA (Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Or Public Relations or Closely Related Field)
Min. of 3 Yrs. of experience working with Nigeria Customs Service Officials
Knowledge of Consumer Marketing.
Understanding of Social Media.
Must be willing to work with flexible schedule.
Excellent Written Skills.
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills
(Data Filters; Data Sorting; Pivot Tables; and advanced functions such as IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, VLOOKUP).
