Job summary:

  • To plan, coordinate and monitor all branding, and corporate communication activities of the organization

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing and strengthening the company’s corporate brand across different media channels especially digital channels
  • Plan, coordinate, implement and supervise advertising, and other forms of promotion efforts to ensure strengthening of as well as consistency in branding activities
  • Generate and publish content consistently to position the organization as a leading brand
  • Manage the company’s social media accounts and website to enhance visibility, usability/engagements, and effectiveness, ensuring timely, accurate and up-to-date content
  • Review and update website content periodically for effective search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Act as liaison between the company and the media agencies
  • Carry out periodic digital media audits to ascertain brand engagements and monitor footprints
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to convert branding and communication activities and engagements to actual revenue for the organization
  • Monitor and analyse digital trends and new media for adoption and strengthening of the corporate brand of the company
  • Ensure uniformity in internal and external communication templates
  • Identify and proffer strategic and timely solutions to all branding and communication issues as well as ensure all possible solutions have been exhausted before escalating to the MD/CEO
  • Prepare and manage the budget(s) for the branding and corporate communications unit and ensure cost effectiveness in implementation
  • Make recommendations on policies, and processes for branding and communication activities that are in line with best practices
  • Other job-related tasks as assigned by the MD/CEO

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or English Language or any related discipline
  • Master’s in Business Administration or Marketing or any other relevant discipline is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3-5 years post-graduation experience in branding and corporate communications management
  • Certified membership of local and/or foreign professional institutes is an added advantage
  • Good presentation skills and ability to come up with a compelling story about the brand to convince target clients, partners, and donors
  • Excellent understanding of branding and communication issues as well as insights into corporate governance and not-for-profit operations
  • Proven track record in managing company branding and communications systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong digital marketing skills & Creativity
