Job Description

1. Strategic Planning:

– Develop and implement strategic plans to drive CartAGRO’s business growth and achieve revenue targets in the agritech sector.

– Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities within the agricultural industry to identify opportunities and challenges.

 

2. Grant Application:

– Identify relevant grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources specifically for agritech initiatives.

– Research grant requirements, eligibility criteria, and application deadlines.

– Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for grant proposals.

– Develop compelling grant proposals that clearly articulate CartAGRO’s mission, objectives, and project goals.

– Follow up on submitted proposals, provide additional information as requested, and track outcomes.

 

3. Operational Flow with Product (e.g., app):

– Collaborate with product development teams to understand the features, functionalities, and value proposition of CartAGRO’s app or product.

– Identify target markets and user segments for the app, based on market research and customer insights within the agricultural sector.

– Develop strategies to promote the app and drive user adoption, engagement, and retention among farmers and buyers.

– Monitor app metrics and gather user feedback and insights to continuously improve the product.

 

4. Market Research:

– Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the agritech industry.

– Collect and analyze data on market size, growth projections, and customer demographics related to agriculture.

– Identify farmers’ and buyers’ needs, pain points, and preferences through surveys and data analysis.

– Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that may impact the agritech market.

– Use market research findings to inform product development, marketing strategies, and business expansion efforts.

 

5. Lead Generation and Partnership Development:

– Generate leads through various channels, focusing on farmers, buyers, and partners in the agricultural industry.

– Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities.

– Develop proposals and pitches to showcase CartAGRO’s value proposition and benefits of partnership.

– Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and pricing terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

– Follow up on leads, track progress through the sales pipeline, and provide regular updates to management.

 

6. Compliance:

– Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that govern CartAGRO’s operations in the agritech sector.

– Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

– Monitor changes in regulations to mitigate risks and maintain legal integrity.

 

Job Requirements

 

1. Bachelor’s Degree from any reputable university, preferably in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related fields.

2. Proven track record of success in previous roles within the agritech or related industries.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on agriculture and technology.

4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills tailored to engaging with farmers, buyers, and industry stakeholders.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agritech tools and platforms.
