Duties/Tasks
• Writing and updating user content
• All work must be proofed and grammatically correct
• Daily posts & updates to our Social Media sites
• Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts.
• Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.
• Promoting new posts to engage users.
• Maximizing site traffic by utilizing keywords
• Inviting other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the webpage.
• Monitoring responses to posts via our social media site
• Staying current on industry trends for possible stronger, more engaging content.
• Maintain messaging and branding consistency.
• Compile competitive information
• Develop and execute the organization-wide content strategy, ongoing content development, and user engagement. This is including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Google Business, Instagram, YouTube
• Prioritize and complete special projects as assigned
• Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others
• All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established
Preferences:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• Writing portfolio on books, blogs, etc.
• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with social media platforms, and SEO keywords
• Ability to sit and type for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence the audience
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing the brand
