Overview
Our client is an industrial service company with an accredited laboratory specializing in environmental, oil and gas, and production chemistry. They are based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking for a Content Marketer who will join their team.
Key Responsibilities
The role holder will oversee the development and implementation of the Company’s digital marketing strategy, and will have the following responsibilities:
Work with the web developers and designers in the design (and redesign) of the company website, to ensure continuous functionality.
Develop and implement the Company’s content strategy to ensure online objectives are met, using a range of techniques including SEO, PPC, etc.
Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and social media handles.
Track, and report on, traffic flow & conversion rates; and recommend improvements to the website.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years experience in digital communications and social media marketing.
Skills
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
Understanding of various content management systems, as well as the peculiarities of various social media platforms, to customize content as applicable.
Ability to design, and recommend improvements to, graphics.
Strong video editing skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
