We are recruiting to fill the position of the Senior Creative Copywriter to support the growth of our firm.
For prospective candidate to succeed in this, they will be required to deliver the words and verbal content that accompanies the visual or audio elements of an advertising campaign, while working in close partnership with art directors and lots of input to the visual and audio elements like generating words, slogans, audio scripts etc.
Meeting with account executives and creative supports to discuss clients requirements and core messages and targets
Brainstorming visuals and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
Writing and presenting various copy options to clients as a storyboard (a consecutive series of frames depicting the script and drawings that may be used)
Overseeing and being accountable for checking all content being advertised is truthful and complies with the code of advertising practices
Familiarizing themselves with brand / products, target audience and competitor activities in the market
Presenting initial ideas to the creative director which may be developed into workable concepts
Overseeing the production phase, booking and liaising with designers/illustrators. Printer. Photographers and production companies.
Casting actors and models to appear in adverts.
Graduate degree from a leading institution with 3-5 years experience with an above the line / below the line, digital, or production agency.
Proven success for a large –scale media/experiential campaigns or productions.
PMP certification is also a plus
Processional member NIPR / APCON and other international creative certification from recognized professional bodies.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Highly creative and imaginative
Skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
Understand the different language style that appeals to various target markets.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Work well in a team and with a range of creative people.
Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
Highly self-motivated and well organized.
Ability to see other people’s point of view and take on board feedback
Work with strict budgets
Have eyes for detail
Have an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
