Öhlins Racing is offering a full-time position for a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Communications department at the head office in Upplands Väsby outside of Stockholm. The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing the brand vision and to deliver on-brand, creative assets across all external channels to include, but are not limited to: brand campaigns, print, digital, communications content, social media content, moving image, packaging, product label design, special projects and more.
The Graphic Designer will also assist the Marketing Communications Manager with artistic direction and production of all content, an extensive understanding and appreciation of how customers perceive digital content are required. You are curious, open-minded, a team player, and can present your ideas in front of an international group of sales staff successfully. It’s a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative organisation with its history from the Racing world if you have experience from photography that is highly commendable.
The position reports to the Marketing Communication Manager. Travels occur a few times per year, mainly to trade shows.
Propose innovative, creative design that elevates the brand ensuring that all visuals are consistent, compelling and reflect the brand vision globally.
Partner with the Marketing Communications Manager to support with ideas and the artistic direction of all content including photo, video, SoMe, exhibition design and more.
Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams on a variety of projects within Öhlins market areas.
Manage, develop and design all brand collaterals in both print and digital such as logos newsletters, presentations, corporate visual identity booklet, brand books.
Manage and work closely together with external agencies to oversee the desired production outcome that aligns with the organisations brand vision.
Assist and coordinate photoshoots.
Act as the graphic design advisor to Öhlins subsidiaries’ marketing teams to ensure consistency and brand vision relevance.
Image re-touch skills working with product photos, life style imagery and action photos.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent, such as Berghs School of Communication.
3+ years of design agency experience or in-house marketing department.
Must be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio of design and creative work showcasing your ability to take the task from concept to completion.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of what triggers consumers of luxury and premium products.
Native to the full Adobe Creative Suite, in particular (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects)
Photo re-touch skills.
Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate and present your work to team members.
Fluency in English
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Product photo knowledge or a good understanding of taking outstanding and engaging photos.
Can demonstrate video production skills, mainly for social media, or willingness to learn.
