Input and conceptualization of the Nigeria Marketing Activity Plan in consultation with Marketing Manager, Africa and Area PR and Communications Manager, Middle East & Africa and District Director Nigeria.Assistance and follow-up for each hotel’s annual Marketing Plan in consultation with hotel GM’sMonitor trends in all relevant media to ensure brands and hotels are up to date with market insight and monitor competitor’s activity in media (traditional and social media)Maintain close relationships with relevant media to ensure cost effective and creative ways to increase brand awareness and effective campaigns and activities. On line – Off lineDistrict – wide adaptation of Corporate, Area and Regional campaignsIdentify potential outbound promotional opportunity together with Marketing Manager, AfricaEnsure a coherent brand message and tone of voiceDeliver creative, innovative and effective advertising, collateral, sales tools for hotels and districtPR & Communications

 

Develop and implement regional PR, digital communication and social media plan to promote RHG brands and hotels within the media market (in Nigerian Key Feeder Markets), in cooperation with Area PR and Communications Manager, Middle East & Africa.Serve as the liaison between ASO and the hotels on all communication mattersPromote Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) brands, hotels and executives through social media network, trade shows, interviews, press conferences, media dinners, photo calls and events.Research and seek innovative PR (online and offline) opportunities, including identifying opportunities for the placement of stories promoting the hotel(s) and the promotion of relevant spokespeopleDirect any local PR agencies by managing the brief, the pitch, appointment process and working closely with the agency to promote the hotel(s).Develop and maintain media and influenced database for use on regional basis in liaison with Area PR and Communications Manager, Middle East & Africa.Write, edit and pitch news releases to the media locally and regionally.Ensure RHG corporate brand awareness and positioning using relevant partnership connections and institutional PR within the Nigerian community.B2B and B2C Marketing

 

Establish the annual B2C and B2C Marketing plans for the district and drive and assist hotel individual plansSet up of all B2C and B2C tactical and brand marketing activities for Corporate & MICE and LeisureEnsure a coherent brand message and tone of voice

Deliver creative, innovative and effective advertising, collateral, sales tools

Develop online content for B2B and B2C activities

Develop targeted consumer acquisition, retention & engagement planB2B and B2C databases

Direct marketing communication

Leverage the Radisson Rewards program: individual members, MP, Travel agents and travel arrangers

Develop cost effective media planManage & develop strategic B2B and B2C partnerships & sponsorshipsMonitor consumer data, ROI leisure campaigns, market research, etc.CRM and Loyalty

Ensure effective database management in Nigerian hotelsEstablish procedures in order to increase database in the district, throughout hotels and use it effectively to communicate messages and add to Central Marketing DatabaseSupport hotels in order to reach enrollment goals for Radisson Rewards and various RHG Loyalty programs in cooperation with ASO.Drive Radisson Rewards for Business in cooperation with ASO and CRM team at Corporate Support Office (CSO)Ensure effectiveness of Loyalty Programmes in general, including motivation of member engagement and support acquisition of new members for various RHG Loyalty programsBranding

Ensure all hotels are aware and in line with company brand standardsCarry out regular audits for brand standards and complianceEnsure operating entities are always in line with brand standardsPartnerships

Effectively optimize the company’s existing partners through joint promotions and eventsSource local partners for Nigeria activities and individual hotel activitiesIdentify and flag potential Nigeria based partners to ASO and CSODigital Marketing

Identify and implement solutions across all districts of e-commerce and digital marketing in order to drive revenue through on-line channels and direct purchase influenced by on-line messaging for Nigerian hotels.Review and assist hotels with SEO and SEM programs in coordination with ASOReview hotel online strategies and assist with online campaigns to ensure correct target market and high ROI.Developing online strategies and implementation of online activities for the district based on joint property plans and in lieu of Commercial Focus Group (when relevant) or Smart Funding activities.Assist hotels to ensure correct content and tools are applied to brand webUse RHG and industry analytics to measure efficiency of online initiatives and report to all GMs and Area MarComm.Social Media

Manage the execution of the company’s social media strategyOnline reputation management for the Nigerian district based on the monitoring of social media and review sitesCreate and execute frequent promotions on multiple social media channelsWork with hotels to compose engaging and informative content using appropriate brand voice and best practices on social channels including Facebook; Instagram for corporate, brand and hotel accounts and LinkedIn for executive profiling for relevant stakeholders.Support of the relevant brand blogsSupport of content and storytelling.
