Character Designer

As a Character Designer for Resizar Studios, you will play a vital role in bringing our preschool educational animation series to life. Your creative skills will shape the visual identity of our characters, making them relatable and lovable to our young audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and animation team to develop character designs for the show.
Create appealing and age-appropriate character designs that resonate with preschool viewers.
Develop unique and expressive visual traits for each character to enhance their personalities.
Ensure that character designs are suitable for animation and maintain visual consistency throughout the series.
Collaborate with the scriptwriter and Creative Director to ensure character designs align with the series’ objectives and educational content.
Provide character turnaround sheets and design references for animation purposes.
Adapt character designs for various poses, expressions, and situations.
Revise and refine character designs based on feedback from the production team.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Character Designer in the illustration or animation industry, preferably for children’s content.
Strong illustration skills and a keen sense of design.
Familiarity with character design principles and the ability to create characters that engage and connect with young viewers.
Ability to work within the style and visual identity of the show.
Proficiency in digital illustration and character design software.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

This position is a contract role.
