Web Developer

We are offering a remote opportunity for a Web Designer at Scruples Resource Limited. As a Web Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting visually captivating and user-friendly websites. Your responsibilities will include graphic design, front-end development, and the implementation of responsive web design principles. This role provides an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in web design while contributing to our mission of delivering valuable content and engaging experiences for our clients. We are looking for a skilled individual who can bring creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to enhance our online presence.

Responsibilities:

● Proficiency in Web Design and Graphic Design skills.

● Ability to create and optimize graphics to enhance website aesthetics.

● Knowledge of responsive web design principles for seamless user experiences across devices.

● An expert understanding of content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.

● Capability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating excellent time management and communication skills.

● Strong attention to detail and creativity, with a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions

● Collaborate with the HR Manager and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.

● Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our current WordPress website, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

● Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Develop a detailed project plan outlining the scope of work, milestones, and timelines.

● Customize and integrate plugins, themes, and other third-party tools to enhance website functionality.

● Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and overall performance optimization.

● Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.

● Provide training and support to internal team members as needed.

● Proficiency in SEO best practices is a plus.

Requirements:

● Proven experience as a Website Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful WordPress projects.

● Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and tools.

● Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and SEO best practices.

● Experience with website optimization techniques to improve speed, performance, and security.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

● Experience working in the oil and gas industry or with recruiting agencies is a plus.
