Shugaban is a revolutionary online marketplace that enables movie/video content providers to set up and manage their own content. It is an online streaming marketplace that allows content providers to create and users to watch almost all areas of entertainment, including (but not limited to) television production such as; TV Series and Feature films, Documentaries, Skit, Animations, Musical Concerts and Comedy shows.
Job brief
We are looking for a competent and talented Production Manager to support all aspects of film or TV production and toassemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
As a production manager, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a captivating story. If you want to prove yourself and work your way up the ranks in filmmaking, this is the place to start. Applicants should be able to multi-task, solve problems and do things proactively.
Job Responsibilities
Help prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc.
Develop movie production briefs to the production team
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a production manager
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightworks, After Effects and Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
BS degree in cinematography, fine art, mass communication, journalism, film studies or related field
