Brand Ambassador needed at Whip Music Africa

Whip Music Africa is a talent marketplace for music professionals in Africa with a focus on simplifying the talent discovery process for music companies and connecting artists to gig opportunities and powerful connections. We are looking for a Brand Ambassador to be the face and voice of our company. If you enjoy communicating with customers both online and offline, we would like to meet you. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness, customer acquisition and sales by promoting Whip Music Africa at events and online.

This is what your role will entail:
Post about Whip Music Africa online (e.g. social media and forums)
Create, share and respond to online reviews
Representing the company at events, shows and concerts.
Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers
Thoroughly understand our business products and their value proposition in order to inform potential customers
Use word-of-mouth marketing techniques, like referring our company to potential customers
Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times
Monitor online comments and respond or forward to the Marketing department
Track customers’ preferences, metrics and suggest advertising and positioning ideas
We’re looking for people with these qualities:
Confident and comfortable speaking to new people at events
Excellent communication skills
Strong social media presence on multiple platforms
Experience creating online content
An outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people
Professional attitude
Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
Experience in retail sales is a plus
Ability to attend various music events around Lagos
