About the Role
This role will report to the Post-production lead, Cabal Creative. As a video editor, you will be required to work with the Cabal Creative Team on all Zikoko video-related projects.
This role requires a committed and responsible person with excellent communication and organizational skills. Leadership and motivational qualities are essential, as is the ability to multitask and prioritize work. The ideal candidate should be a contributing team member and should be able to use his/her knowledge and skills to help the team succeed. Should also be able to work effectively, productively, and successfully with other people in the team.
What makes you qualified for this role;
You have basic knowledge and understanding of matters relating to video editing & audio editing.
You have Proficient knowledge of Camera, sound, and light equipment.
You can use adobe premiere pro, after effects, Davinci resolve, Final cut pro, etc. proficiently.
What you’ll do;
Work hand-in-glove with the Post Production lead and the rest of the video team to deliver high-quality video for Zikoko projects.
Offline editing, color correction, titles, sound, etc. for all video projects.
Edit Zikoko podcasts.
Ensure high-quality output, storytelling excellence, and strategic relevance across all video projects.
Collaborate with the cabal creative team to ensure the seamless execution of all projects.
Operate as a Cinematographer when required
Monitor the performance of articles using real-time analytics tools and make strategic SEO decisions based on that data and real-time Google Rankings
