This role requires someone who can move between strategic thinking and planning to tactical execution. YOU will be responsible for owning key areas of projects in our different brands including Awesomers.com, ProductSavants.com, Catalyst88.com, and more using our ERP system.
If you have a talent for using graphics, footage, and sound to tell a story can manage large amounts of content and has a vision of creating sticky messages for our different brands then grab this awesome opportunity and grow with us!
As Video Content Creator/Editor, we expect you to:
1. Assemble and organize video segments to deliver a sequential and continuous story of a specified length.
2. Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter the video.
3. Meet with clients (internal business units and potentially external customers as well) to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created.
4. Perform all editing work including inserting sound effects, music, storyboarding, styles, and video layouts. Improve video and sound quality using various video software.
5. Edit the video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other important aspects of the project.
6. Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to the client’s specifications.
7. Develop scripts, create storyboards and treatments, and edit photos and videos for multiple platforms.
8. Understand how to cut down existing long-form videos into smaller shorts for social media posting.
9. Increase subscribers on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube thru posted creative content.
10. Operate your own computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects.
11. Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation.
12. Help host live events on Steamyeard or Zoom and then create promotional materials from those sessions.
