Role
As a graphic designer at Flytime Fest, you will be passionate about cutting-edge graphics for live entertainment. Aligned with our visual identity you will create new concepts, key artwork, content series, presentations, and more, You will be producing trend-setting creative artwork that reflects our marketing needs and brand awareness in our concert advertising, artist relations, social channels, artist content and more.
You work well in a collaborative, target-based environment. You have a keen attention to detail and are adept at smooth communication and workflow for all designated briefs. You are passionate about entertainment and being part of a team that connects fans to the artists and experiences that they love.
Responsibilities
Design and creation of print and digital materials, presentations, and event marketing content
Work alongside creative and marketing teams to provide design support as needed
Translate business communications into engaging visual graphics for presentations
Source image and video references for presentations
Maintain a consistent feel and brand identity across creative content
Design social media creative content
Support document design, layout, and production
Develop business communication templates and creative resources
Maintain website updates, graphics, and layouts
Maintain and follow best practices for the organization of graphic files
Skills
Strong design backgrounds and current print, web, and social production experience
Ability to bring art direction and ideas to life through exceptional design concepts
In tune with current social media trends
Resourceful in utilizing photo libraries, templates, and icons
Photo editing, colour correction, and touchup
Creative concept development and production proficiency
Experience with motion and video editing is a plus
Familiarity with digital workflows, including social media best practices and design specifications
Expertise in the use of colour and typography
Experience & Knowledge Desired
5+ years of experience in graphic design
Strong portfolio of previous and current design work
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom)
Ability to create and collaborate in Canva
Motion, video editing, or 3D skills set is a plus
Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools
