Graphics Artist

Interpreting the business design needs and developing a concept to suit the design/content.
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and designs
Liaising with necessary team to discuss the design requirements.
Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD) whilst updating with necessary skills such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash
Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size/style and related concepts
Obtaining approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
Preparing final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
Estimating the time required to complete the job and ensuring that the specified deadlines are met.
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
Presenting finalised design and concepts and making any amendment if necessary
Working on layouts and artworking pages ready for print
Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification/Experience
Bsc or Masters in Graphic Design, Fine Art or any related field
With 3 – 5 years working experience in creative designs, Knowledge of CAD, highly creative.
Reside around Mainland environs.
Additional / Higher qualification can be an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft packages: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
Working knowledge of design software and technologies – Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
