Artist Manager

The Artist Manager at Mevron Records is a multifaceted role that requires a deep understanding of the music industry, excellent organizational skills, and a talent for relationship building. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our artists and their wider team, collaborating closely with producers, marketers, and other stakeholders to drive music campaigns and artist development.

Responsibilities:

Contract Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and fees, and secure bookings for events and venues aligned with the artist’s career objectives.
Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute marketing strategies for music, film, and catalog projects. This includes branding, strategy development, timeline creation, and overseeing the execution of various marketing channels.
Career Guidance: Provide guidance on career decisions, publicity, and promotions, assisting artists in choosing record producers, song selections, and managing media relations.
Industry Networking: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in the music industry, staying updated on industry trends and opportunities.
Release Coordination: Assist in organizing and negotiating contracts for releases and publishing, and liaise with the press. Secure interviews and coordinate promotional activities.
Artists Support: Offer support during tours, handling logistics, visas, budgets, and ensuring the artist’s well-being on the road.
Day-to-Day Coordination: Coordinate daily activities for artists, including travel arrangements, itineraries, and schedules to ensure punctuality for shoots, sessions, interviews, and other commitments.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years in a marketing role or business development/sales, with a strong background in project management.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, project management abilities, and effective communication skills. Experience in budgeting, negotiation, music licensing, and publishing is a plus.
Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments such as Marketing, A&R, Partnerships, and Legal.
Networking: A well-established network within the music industry is highly advantageous.
Music Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the music business, tour planning, and industry networks.
