JOB SUMMARY
The role holder should be able to prepare scripts and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the client’s brief and vision.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Video Editing
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
A typical day on the job will involve.
Write or adapt a story into a script.
Conceptualize ideas in specifications to client’s needs.
Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
Capture studio-quality photographs and video
Collaborate with the creative team to concept and develop a language between script and visual plan.
Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
Perform video and audio editing based on story sequence and continuity.
Ensure logical sequencing running of video/film
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
Organize and assemble video segments to deliver the continuous sequential story of a specified length.
Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Creative Art, Cinematography, or related field from a reputable institution.
Must be a creative mind and possess a great storytelling skill
0-3 years work experience only.
Demonstrate video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Great sense of precision and attention to detail
A good understanding of motion graphics is preferred
Good time management skills
Familiarity with special effects, 3D compositing.
