Scriptwriter

Job Description:

You will play a crucial role in bringing our preschool educational animation series to life. You will be responsible for crafting imaginative and educational scripts that align with our series’ objectives. Your writing will captivate young minds and make learning an enjoyable adventure for our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and production team to develop engaging and age-appropriate scripts for each episode of the show.
Create entertaining and educational content that introduces preschoolers to early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and cultural awareness.
Ensure that scripts are aligned with the educational goals of the series and suitable for a preschool audience.
Write dialogue that reflects the personalities of the characters and contributes to character development.
Incorporate humor and creativity to make learning fun for young viewers.
Collaborate with the animation team to ensure that scripts are translated effectively into visuals.
Review and revise scripts based on feedback from the production team.
Stay up-to-date with trends in children’s educational content and adapt scripts accordingly.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a scriptwriter for children’s animation or educational content.
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives.
Familiarity with the developmental stages and interests of preschool-aged children.
Understanding of educational content creation and the ability to weave educational concepts into scripts seamlessly.
Creativity and a sense of humor to engage and entertain young viewers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in scriptwriting software and tools.

This position is a contract role.
