Full Job Description
We are searching for an engaging social media video editor to help us establish and keep our brand’s social media presence. You will be responsible for developing video content and campaign strategies, monitoring user engagement and activity, and ensuring consistency in the brand’s digital tone and image in this role.
You should have a keen eye for detail and experience with a variety of social media networks to be successful as a social media video editor. A skilled social media video editor should be able to interpret analytics and implement social media strategies that increase sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create innovative content for a variety of our social channels by utilizing creative video editing techniques.
Have strong storytelling abilities.
Creating Visual Content and Project Management
Collaborating with the social media team to create a content calendar and develop an overall video strategy in collaboration with other teams.
Collaborate with other team members and creators to ensure a strong and united brand perception and creative vision.
Work with other teams to localize the video in other languages.
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or communications preferred ( fresh graduate).
At least 6 months of experience creating and producing engaging social videos.
Extremely creative, organized and dedicated to creating best-in-class social content.
Ability to think up creative ideas to promote a brand in innovative ways.
Able to create visual content optimized for different platforms on social media using video, photography and graphic design.
Advanced knowledge of editing tools.
Graphic design skills.
Excellent creative skills and a great eye for detail.
Active social media user with experience in various social channels.
Ability to multitask several creative projects.
Time management and organizational skills.
Must live within Lekki or Ajah.
