They are looking for an experienced Art Director who is excited about leading on a unique and exciting Netflix original series that is authentically African and will impact young people around the world. They would need to lead the Art department and create and maintain the visual style and quality of the series. The series is about to go into Development and will move straight into pre-production as the funding is in place. This role will see the Art Director working with the visual development team in Cape Town (South Africa) and CG 3D team in Dublin (Ireland). Our Art Directors are responsible for creating and maintaining the visual style and quality of the show. As the leader of the Design Team, the Art Director should also inspire and elevate the artists to deliver their best work�and have fun while doing it! This exciting new opportunity for an Art Director to join its in-house team in Cape Town, South Africa asap for a long contract. We are seeking candidates who are familiar with the animation pipeline and experienced in hands-on production work for design and color.
