Key Responsibilities

Organize and oversee the production of food in line with the standard operating procedure.

Ensure the Reduction in production cost

Adhere to food, health and safety standards as well as Adherence to standard operating procedures

Comply with the standard recipe

Ensure accuracy of inventory of food and supplies and establish control to minimize food supply waste and theft.

Ensure the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of the output.

Plan menus for the restaurant.

Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.

Determining quality control standards and overseeing production processes

Safeguard all food preparation employees by implementing training to increase their knowledge about safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles.

Organizing relevant training sessions

Consult the restaurant manager about food production aspects of special events being planned.

Interact with the kitchen team to ensure that food production consistently exceeds the expectations of members and guests.

Evaluate products to assure that quality, price, and related goods are consistently met.

Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance management, or any related field.

Relevant professional qualifications are an advantage

Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a production manager, food and beverage manager, kitchen supervisor, or a similar role.

Travel requirements as required to meet job demands

Understand SOP, quality standards and food, health, and safety regulations

Working knowledge of general restaurant operations

Behavioural requirements in terms of responsibility and accountability, professionalism, loyalty, result orientation, time management, and excellence

Leadership qualities in terms of influence, organizational leadership skills, decision-making, communicating effectively, and building and maintaining relationships
