Job Summary: As the Social and Content Manager at Gooro Consulting, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our social media strategy and content marketing initiatives, you will be a vital part of our marketing team, responsible for creating compelling written and video content, particularly in the food industry. You must be really good at taking food videos. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Lagos State, requiring a blend of office and client site presence.


1. Content Creation:

Develop high-quality written content for social media blog posts, articles, and other marketing collateral.
Create visually appealing and engaging food videos for social media platforms.
Capture and edit professional-quality videos during on-site visits to clients.
2. Social Media Management:

Manage and curate social media profiles, with a focus on the food industry.
Utilize Canva and other design tools for creating visually appealing graphics.
Implement and execute social media promotion strategies.
3. Content Scheduling and Calendar Management:

Develop and maintain a content calendar for planned posts and campaigns.
Schedule content across various platforms to optimize engagement.
Ensure consistency and adherence to content schedules.
4. Client Site Visits:

Regularly visit clients’ sites to gather content for posting.
Collaborate with clients to understand their brand and content requirements.
5. Office Reporting:

Report to the company office at least three times a week.
Collaborate with internal teams for content strategy alignment.

Proven experience in creating written and video content, especially in the food industry.
Active presence on various social media platforms.
Proficient in video editing and content creation tools.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and promotion strategies.
Ability to use Canva and other design tools for graphics.
Excellent organizational skills for content scheduling and calendar management.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
