Duties and Responsibilities:
Distribution of marketing materials to increase business awareness
Perform in-person sales and marketing of products
Manage Social media accounts ( Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In) promote products on and engage with followers
Creation of marketing materials/designs for social media
Carry out company’s marketing plans and objective
Communication with potential clients regarding products, promotions and pricing information
Assist at events in the city to promote and market company products
Analyzing website data from Google Analytics and identifying key patterns to develop creative online digital marketing strategies
Identify new opportunities, Prospect new leads; Seek new partnerships to distribute products through phone calls, online, email and in-person
Help with content for quarterly newsletters and email blasts to database
Work on various marketing initiatives to optimize marketing reach and effectively build and position the brand
Write blogs, magazine articles and other publications
Helping to create consistent brand messaging across all platforms
Researching and developing brand strategy
Sourcing and directing brand collaborations
Key Skills:
Sales/Marketing/Customer Service experience
Detail-oriented with great time management skills
Excellent communication and written skills
Strong Social Media and Marketing experience
Experience with email marketing
A continuous learner, passionate and determined
Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and an eye for design and presentation
Strong digital marketing knowledge
Excellent research and analytical capabilities
Able to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with creative software such as Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva is an asset
Direct experience posting and engaging in followers on social media channels
Familiarity with ad/campaign managers on social platforms is an asset
Knowledge of the organic, skincare, beauty and wellness industry is an asset
Knowledge of web analytics tools (including Google Analytics) is an asset
